My 5 year old son and I love yoga here! The atmosphere and instruction is very relaxed and fun, perfect for accommodating kid‘s fickle attention spans. We both always learn something new and I treasure the opportunity to do yoga together.
Whether you are a beginner or are experienced, you will find great comfort and peace attending a class here. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to try it out!!
Toddler and Me
This class is chance for grownups to explore the world of a toddler! We sing, chant, move, play, breathe and relax. We encourage parents, grandparents or caregivers to join in on the fun activities to develop the most special bond with our natural born little yogis. Benefits of Toddler Yoga: increase body awareness and encourage socialization, give toddlers and grown-ups tools to help with self-regulation, healthy, positive movements, and build stronger family connection through yoga and mindfulness activities.
Kids are natural yogis! The Little Yogis class incorporates storytelling, music, games and expressive arts to keep your child curious and engaged. Begin to introduce the idea of yoga practice and its benefits to enhance body awareness, strength and confidence in youth. It also fosters compassion, cooperation and self-acceptance. Yoga classes also includes breathing exercises and relaxation methods and give children tools they can use to cope with stress and regulate emotions. Resilient to life’s challenges!
Tween Yoga is for pre-teens 8 to 12 years old. Preadolescence in particular the tween years is an especially poignant time to practice yoga. Through breathing exercises, meditation, and physical asanas they can utilize the tools to ease anxiety and develop self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-respect.
No screens, no social pressures, just a great opportunity for Tweens and Teens to recenter with great exercise and meaningful activities.
Teenager Yoga classes open for children ages 10 to 16 years old. Teenage years can be challenging with rapid growth and new changes physically, mentally and socially. Yoga and meditation provide tools to improve self-esteem and body image as well as develop discipline and self-regulation. Working with mindfulness tools and breathing exercise also reduce anxiety to support teen mental health during Adolescence and smoothly transition from childhood to adulthood.
