Teaching with Compassion in Today's World
Our teaching approach is grounded in trauma-informed principles, mindful communication, and the belief that every student deserves to feel safe, supported, and respected. By integrating traditional yoga philosophy with trauma-informed principles, nervous system awareness, and real-world teaching experience, we prepare our graduates to teach with presence, compassion, and confidence in today’s world.
Deepen Your Practice: Explore yoga philosophy, anatomy, pranayama, meditation, sequencing, ethics, and the foundations of teaching while honoring yoga’s traditional roots and their relevance today. Embody the Teachings: Develop self-awareness, confidence, and presence so your teaching comes from lived experience rather than memorized cues. Teach with Compassion: Learn trauma-informed principles, nervous system awareness, inclusive language, and thoughtful sequencing to create classes where every student feels welcome and supported. Integrate Mind, Body & Spirit: Experience yoga as a holistic practice that extends beyond movement, cultivating resilience, balance, and wellbeing in everyday life. Grow in Community: Train within a small cohort where meaningful relationships, mentorship, and shared learning become an essential part of your journey.
Now more than ever, the world needs teachers who can lead with presence, compassion, and authenticity. At Harmony Family Yoga, we believe teaching yoga is not simply about leading poses. It is a practice of service—helping others reconnect with themselves, cultivate resilience, and experience greater harmony in their everyday lives.

Hear from Our Graduates
I joined YTT not to teach right away, but to deepen my practice and reconnect with the heart of yoga. I experienced growth on every level—mentally, emotionally, spiritually. The teachers supported me through self-doubt and old wounds, and I left with clarity, resilience, and purpose. I found my voice and a second home in this community.
The curriculum was thorough, nourishing, and fun! We learned from a wide range of teachers with different styles and backgrounds, offering wisdom from various yogic lineages. I gained the confidence I needed to step fully into my identity as a teacher.
Cici curated a thoughtful, professional training with both studio teachers and inspiring guest speakers. The learning was rich, and the energy of the community continues to stay with me.
I came to deepen my personal practice, not to teach—but I left inspired to share yoga with others. From anatomy and alignment to pranayama, chakras, and Ayurveda, every layer was covered. We explored many styles: Hatha, Flow, Yin, Aerial, and Bhakti. I never imagined I’d want to teach, but now I do—with heart and confidence.
