FROM OUTWARD TO INWARDOne of the ways that yoga is different from traditional exercise is that we strive to turn our senses inward instead of searching for information from the outside world. By turning our awareness inward, we can increase our ability to perceive and learn where we put our energy, leading the senses towards the self.
FIVE SENSESOur sensory impressions determine the quality of our thoughts and emotions. Healing naturally through the five senses allows us to receive a greater physical and emotional well-being. With mindfulness techniques, we explore the scents, sounds, textures, sights, and tastes.
AROMATHERAPYScent connects us directly with our memories, emotions, and instincts. We use pure essential oils with no contaminants, fillers, or adulterations that are safe and effective and allow you to reap the full benefits that nature has to offer.
SOUND HEALINGEvery sound has a powerful physiological effect. We chant mantras to dive into the ancient knowledge of wisdom that triggers deep memories and pure emotional responses. Singing bowls, drums and harmonium create melodies to uplift the mood, open the heart and welcome peace and harmony in our lives.
MEDITATION WORKSHOPSOur senses serve as a bridge from the mind to the deeper layers of the self. We work with mindfulness educators, peak-performance coaches, and inspirational teachers to provide specialized series to establish habits for healthy living, spiritual freedom and enlightenment.
Looking to book a family or group event? Harmony Family Yoga offers space rental to host private events, celebrations and create special memories with your families and friends. We also host small groups of friends and team-building demo yoga sessions at the studio or on site at your location.
