Harmony Family Yoga 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (Feb – April 2025)
- Do I need to purchase an additional membership during the training to attend regular group studio classes?
No, trainees receive free studio access to all group adult classes during the training. You’re also welcome to observe kids’ classes or sound bath sessions to expand your learning. We encourage attending classes from different instructors to practice and develop your teaching skills. - What happens if I miss some portions of the in-person training?
If you have a personal conflict and miss part of a training weekend, you can still receive your certification as long as you don’t miss more than 10% of the total in-person hours (20 hours of the 200-hour program) and complete all required teaching hours and practice sessions. Recorded sessions for any missed portions will be provided for your convenience. However, it is mandatory to notify the coordinator about any scheduling conflicts at the start of the training—no exceptions will be made. - Will I get Yoga Alliance certification, and what happens after I complete the training?
Yes, Harmony Family Yoga is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance. Upon completion of all required coursework and teaching hours, you will receive a certification from us. Afterward, you can register your 200 hours with Yoga Alliance, which will notify us for approval. Once approved, you’ll be officially recognized as a Yoga Alliance-certified instructor. This is just the beginning of your yoga teaching journey. - What styles of yoga will I learn during the training?
Our primary lineage is Hatha Yoga, taught in a non-heated environment. While we don’t focus on power flows, the training will cover various styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, and Restorative Yoga. You’ll also have opportunities to experience Aerial Yoga and Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga during special excursions. The curriculum includes Pranayama (breathwork) and meditation techniques. - Can I observe kids’ yoga or sound bath sessions during the training?
Yes, as part of your learning experience, you are welcome to observe both kids’ yoga classes and sound bath meditation sessions. Observing a variety of classes will enhance your understanding of different teaching approaches and styles. - Who is this teacher training program for?

The training is open to all levels of yoga practitioners, from beginners to experienced students. - What is the time commitment for this training?
